A piece begins with its shape in New York and takes form through Tibetan hands in Qinghai, on the Tibetan Plateau.

People & places
Tibetan craftspeople in Qinghai, on the Tibetan Plateau shape and work the raw materials. Finishing and packaging are completed in mainland China and Hong Kong.

The metal
Both lockets are made from Ag925 silver. Gold has 14K gold plating; Silver has a rhodium finish.
The window
A natural-crystal cover protects the mandala sand. The compartment is sealed and is not designed to be opened.
The movement
Both lockets rotate. Turn the centre as you make a wish or say a prayer, a gesture inspired by the prayer wheel.
The fit
Locket 01 sits on an adjustable black woven cord. Locket 02 hangs from an adjustable fine gold necklace chain. Choose the shape and feeling you are drawn to.
