Both lockets carry sand from the same ceremony — the difference is in how they wear.

Sand Locket 01

Sand Locket 01

$359

Locket 01 has a round crystal window with five carats of loose mandala sand behind it, set over a wave relief. The frame is gold and the cord is black and woven. This is the plainer, more rugged of the two, and it wears with everything.

Sand Locket 02

Sand Locket 02

$259

Locket 02 has a four-petal mandala face with a blue stone at the centre and a pavé border, and two carats of sand sealed behind it. It hangs on a fine gold chain. This is the dressier one, closer to fine jewelry.

Both versions are Ag925 silver, finished in Tibetan Gold Plating.

The ceremony this sand came from

At White Buddha Temple, on the eastern shore of Qinghai Lake, twenty Gelug monks spent fourteen days building a sand mandala for Mahāvairocana, the Buddha of all-illuminating light. They worked from December 4 to 18, 2025, and set every grain by hand.

When the mandala was complete, the monks returned it to the water. Ninety-nine percent of the sand went back to the lake and the rivers that feed it. Through donation and offering, Bijala kept the last one percent, the heart of the painting, and that is the sand sealed into your locket.

The Bijala Touch

The Bijala Touch

The Bijala Touch is a short practice for the moment before something that matters — an interview, a call, a difficult conversation.

01 See it.
02 Tap it, three times.
03 One slow breath.
04 Go.

Four seconds. It gives the moment back to you.

Each locket carries a blessing that was already complete
when it left the temple.
